While we were visiting Roatán on SIESTA, we visited with Peter Schmitt, the designer of the CSY sailboats in the late 70´s and early 80´s.

Peter, and his wife Barbara, live on the 100´ trawler CRAZY HORSE (see below), moored to a barge and a dock on their property. We took a tour of their boat, which they have fixed up to provide very comfortable and attractive accomodations. They also showed us a CSY 44 WO that they have at their dock, a result of lack of payment for some work done. Peter is looking to sell this boat. Pictures of this CSY 44 WO will be added to this section, along with his story on how the CSY 44 WO was designed, in a meeting in the Virgin Islands.
