Our First RV

Home Up RV Trip to Wash. DC Tampa Annual RV Show Toyota Toy-In Curry Hammock State Park Our First RV

This little 1989 Toyota Dolphin (by National RV) of ours is powered by a V6 engine and gives us a lot of options. It is 22' long and is still able to park in a standard parking place on the street or in a mall. It's mileage is 13-16 mpg, which is not bad. It has its own 2.8kw generator, so we have power if we need it without plugging in. Our "Marill mobile" makes a great hurricane escape vehicle, as we found out in the '04 and '05 hurricane seasons. And it is very convenient to visit our family in Miami and Delray Beach without having to disturb our hosts, or lose our privacy and comfort. And our cat, SMUDGE, just loves to travel on our RV.
