We purchased our home in the Keys in 1991. When we lived in Delray Beach and worked for IBM, we came down frequently. We kept our boat here part of the year, and afterwards rented the property year-round, since we would stay on the boat when we would come down. We have since remodelled it a bit, to get it ready for our move to the Keys from California in 2001.

Our home in the Keys is located on the ocean side of the Overseas Highway, or US #1, which goes from Miami all the way to Key West. As you can see in the picture below, our home is easily reachable by car and by boat. It is located about a half a mile away from the main highway, and with a well-marked entrance from the ocean by boat.
