Getting to St. John, USVI, was itself a very pleasant part of the event. A large number of us boarded a plane in Miami headed for St. Thomas. From the Charlotte Amalie airport, we took taxis to Red Hook, where we took a ferry to Cruz Bay, St. John. As the ferry arrived, Fred, Ani, Ed Jr. and Becky greeted us at the government dock.
