MANY THANKS TO SO MANY OF YOU!

We wanted to acknowledge and give thanks to the many people who made it possible for us to get ready for our trip in San Francisco. Some, but not all of them, are:

- Steven Silverman, owner of a CSY 44 WT sistership to SIESTA, of Infinity Marine Supply, who helped us with key equipment we purchased for this trip, including our new Winslow liferaft, 75lb CQR, 8D Lifeline Batteries, awesome new Lofrans FALKON windlass and more!

- Jim Umberger, master wood craftman per excellence, who helped us in innumerable projects...with his flair for elegance and quality. In addition to many projects, he made possible mounting the Spectra watermaker and yet salvaging our spare parts locker. A special guy who made a big difference in our readiness.

- Jocelyn Nash and Dave Howie, of Quantum Sails, for all their help in repairing our existing sails, and providing us with a new red/white and blue drifter, as well as a riding sail (backstay jib???). Jocelyn is as competent and nice a person as you can find. And Dave and his lovely wife Angela took extra time to help us with the windlass installation, as well as scouting some delicious mexican food at bargain prices in Alameda.

- Jack Scullion, with assistants Chris and Salvador, of Scullion Yatch Services, with their re-rigging of SIESTA and replacement of its chain plates.

- Ron Jones and Ian Wall, of Star Marine Electronics, Alameda, for their help in getting our new hydraulic linear drive installed on our rudder quadrant. They supplied us with the new Raytheon ST7000+ pilot, which is a pleasure to navigate with.

- Mark Cenak, of Sausalito, for his assistance in installing our new wonderful Spectra watermaker in record time.

- Marty Chin, engine mechanic at Ballena Isle Marina, for his help in checking out our engine and generator, educating us on an easier and cleaner way to service the oil and filter.

- Kurt and Ron of R/K Quality Canvas, Alameda, who made the cockpit enclosure and supplied us with all the goodies for repairing and creating new canvas projects, using our new Sailrite sewing machine aboard, with its "walking foot".

And many thanks to many more helpful hands, too numerous to mention here.

To all of you, we say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! You made it possible!
